The Highlands Hotel is the venu for the annual Donegal Fiddlers Gathering. Organised by Carideas na bhFidleiri, this event is one of the highlights of the Irish traditional music calandar.

One of the main focal points of the weekend will be the Donegal Fiddlers concert on Saturday Night. The true greats of Donegal fiddling will once again be celebrated and the concert will feature performances by many of the leading local players including, Danny Meehan, Micheal Cherry, Tara Connaghan and Derek Mc Ginley.

Celebrating the strong musical links between Donegal and Scotland has long been a priority with the Donegal Fiddlers and this year the organisers are delighted to feature celebrated Aberdeenshire fiddler Paul Anderson.
